Enhypen’s Drunk-Dazed turned one yesterday! It was a song which took the whole Stan twitter by storm. Thanks to talented editors, many different fan communities got to know of Enhypen (me, included) through fan edits featuring the song as the BGM. The exposure the track got further solidified Enhypen’s reputation as “Monster Rookies”.

Drunk-Dazed is the title track for Enhypen’s second mini-album “Border: Carnival”. The song has gained popularity domestically and globally sooner after it’s release. “Fever” the B-side track was also chosen by TIME in the US as the ‘2021 Best K-Pop Song’, proving the album’s global popularity.

ENHYPEN’s second mini-album “BORDER : CARNIVAL,” released in April last year, surpassed 300 million streams on March 12, 2022.”BORDER : CARNIVAL” is now ENHYPEN’s first album to reach this mark. Drunk-Dazed is their second track to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify and it is their second track to reach this milestone after “Fever”.

Drunk Dazed was also the first song to present the group with Music Show Wins. Enhypen made their first appearance at #18 on the Billboard Artist 100 Chart with this song. The music video has over 75 million views on Youtube.

Keeping in view how Enhypen will be celebrating their second anniversary this November, It’s very clear how the group has achieved so much in so little time. They have already made their name in the industry for their clean choreographies, versatile discography, blinding visuals and distinct concept. The group’s Music Videos are based around a webtoon, “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar” which centers around a fictional universe having characters inspired by the members of Enhypen. Enhypen made their 2022 comeback with their first repackage album, “Dimension: Answer”. The group is now gearing up for a May comeback, especially for their Japanese fans. The single album, “Dimension: Senkou” (senkou literally means “flash of light” in Japanese) is set to release on May 3rd. The album will include Japanese version of “Drunk-Dazed” and “Tamed-Dashed”. It will also include their Japanese single, “Always”.
