Summer is here with spring still lingering in the air. And this hence calls for a room renovation! With the seasons changing it is best to transform the environment you are living in for your own peace of mind, if you can’t renovate the whole thing; small changes also prove to have a greater impact.

Color scheme

According to ‘Pantone’, “Very Peri”  has been declared the color of the year 2022. Now we can pair it up with soft pastels color or even metallic colors depending on your personal taste. If you are thinking to give your living space a new color, I’d suggest you go with a comparative small wall with least furniture placed in front of it to be painted with the living coral and the wall opposite to it to be adorned with a beige minimalist wallpaper. Painting the whole room in bright colors will give it a stuffy feel and no we don’t want that. If you like to keep your space popping then add light gray to your color palette too.

Furniture

In this age, our youth prefers spacious rooms with decent and modern-looking furniture. Many bloggers have tried the “minimalist living” concept and the results were truly eye-candy. Keeping the color scheme in mind going with beige, wood brown or ash gray color for furniture is a risk-free action. These colors make your place look spacious and they serve the purpose also. A slim white wood bed will do the work paired with a thick wood table in the same shade. A fragile dresser will go well with this bed and will also complement the room. If you intend to stay economical then leave the table out and use organizer shelves instead.

Now, whether you are a stay-at-home person or a workaholic, a study table is a MUST in your room. Even if you don’t plan on bringing it in your room, you still feel the need from time to time. Usually, many of us cut this off from the list as it covers a lot of space and for this reason, many interior designers suggest small and compact tables, pairing it with floating shelves helps in making more space for your work-related books making them stay in your close reach.

Coming towards sitting, adorning your room with small structured chairs makes your space look decent and modern. Pairing them with an extra small table makes the sitting area looks aesthetic as well as comforting.

Warm shades set a comforting and soothing environment of your place. Since you don’t want your room to look stuffy, I will suggest going for warmer shades of yellow lights with a fragile structure. Using various lights like ceiling lights, wall lights, floor lamps and lights under shelves makes your room look equally well lit. Moreover, you can use wall lamps with a darker structure to add a different flavor to your room.

Organizing Accessories

Since you are making the most use out of the least stuff in your room, managing and organizing your material gets hard and you end up losing track of your valuable things. For this very troubling issue, organizing accessories are now given massive attention. One of the smallest, antique and aesthetic yet simple product is “Wall Mesh”, you can nail it to the wall in front of your working station and pin all the important documents, receipts, to-do lists, etc. here! Using cosmetics organizer also help in keeping your small dresser clean and tidy. Clothes Ring Organizer keeps scarves, ties, and belts in place which tend to get misplaced very frequently. Additional shelves occupy no space on the floor and they come in handy managing extra space for your stuff.

Decorative Accessories

Decorative accessories are the life of the room. Decorating your room with small products gives the place a new look. If you can’t handle sensitive pieces around yourself go for wall paintings, paintings in sets of 3 that are to be placed on an empty and small-sized wall stand out more. Using artificial plants and greens also enhance the beauty. Fairy lights literally can go with every concept. Not to forget the major part, Curtains. Layered curtains with soft colors make the room appear bigger and brighter. If sunlight bothers you, try going with combinations like a baby pink inner and a sheer ash gray outer curtain. Add a beige colored rug to give a color to your floor as well and complete the look!

Customize

It’s your room! Every room has an aura to it depending on the person living in it. Hence you are not bound to follow certain instructions from an interior guide. Search the latest trends and improvise according to your taste. For example, it’s not necessary to buy high-end paintings. you can also use cut-outs from magazines or newspapers to decorate your room.
